The Colour Play benches and stools are part of &New’s Colour Play dining room collection, which consists of dining tables, benches, stools and cabinets made in Britain by local craftsmen.

The design of the collection was driven by function and the minimal &New aesthetic. There is a considered colourway running through the furniture, combining pastels and bright colours, creating a vibrant and exciting dining room set.

The Colour Play benches and stools were designed both to sit together with the Colour Play Dining Table and to be used individually. The benches come in two different sizes; medium and large. The large bench is also an ideal size for the hallway. The playful and functional design looks great against period details as well as in a modern space. The seats are made with food-safe lacquered plywood available in seven different colours. The paint is skilfully applied onto a colour-matched undercoat leaving the grain of the birch plywood on show. Therefore, every single seat is beautifully different depending on the grain and character of the plywood underneath. The paint has an elegant satin finish, with a perfect amount of gloss. The steel frame is available in fifteen powder-coated colours; paperwhite, black, beetroot, deep blue, blueberry, deep green, green, turquoise, red, orange, ice blue, yellow, pink, butternut and coco.

The long bench measures 136 cm x 33 cm x 47 cm high.
